Natural Skin Exfoliation That Doesn’t Involve Microbeads - The Urban Ecolife

Those abrasive facial exfoliating scrubs you buy from the beauty aisle are doing your skin, and the environment, more harm than good.  We all understand how wonderful a feeling it is to scrub those dead skin cells off your body but like with most things, you need to evaluate the health risks of the products you are using and the environmental consequences. Unfortunately, many of these products have not been manufactured with either taken into consideration.

Mastering The Soft Skills Of Sustainability - The Urban Ecolife

I have something important to share with you. First, I like to mention this site where you can get free no deposit casino bonuses, which will help you gain some sustainability with some luck. With that out the way, let's go to the main topic of this article.

It’s been weighing on my heart for some time.

It’s a feeling of guilt. A feeling of not being enough. Of not being the bigger, better person that I so desperately want to be…. now.  Of not speaking up enough about this cause that I am so passionately and whole-heartedly invested in – the cause to leave this planet, and my impact on this planet, better for tomorrow than I left it yesterday.

6 Foods That Are Best To Eat Organic - The Urban Ecolife

It seems like all this talk of organic foods began only a few years back. Some may even consider it a passing trend like Pogo-sticks, The Spice Girls and Pokemon cards. But we know better don’t we? Step back in time a few decades ago, and everyone ate organic produce as compared to non-organic (conventional) foods now. There was only one way to grow and care for fruit and vegetables – the natural way. We didn’t care for economies of scale, maximizing profits and scaling operations to unmanageable levels where only a machine is fit to do the work.  Oh, such an idyllic life. Chemicals and synthetic pesticides to stave off pests and weeds was still a problem for future generations to conjure up and deal with.  Which brings us to the time NOW. Our increased use of unnatural ways of maintaining crops, as well as the effects these are having on the environment, have steered us back into the direction of organic goods. To a grassroots level of food production that sees us more concerned than ever about the health and environmental footprint these substances are leaving behind.

Urban Lifestyle and Entertainment

|

From what you eat to how you dress, from what goes to your body to where you travel abroad, and everything that goes in between. That’s the best description of what an eco-friendly urban lifestyle and entertainment mean.

What if, we already have all the solutions in our daily life to change the world on a scale?

Large companies, too, are going green, out of respect for the environment because several standards and laws force them to do so, but also because they find their way into it! Let us look more specifically at casinos. Their opening hours are extensive, including a good part of the night and all the games rooms are heavily lit, day and night, for security reasons and also because the openings on the outside are often relatively limited... as for the slot machines, they are now all controlled entirely by electronics, so they must be permanently powered. They are covered with lights, screens, and other illuminations or animations. With that said, it seems logical that online casinos are way more eco-friendly, besides all other advantages they give to players like the freedom to play your favorite casino games from the comfort of your home and generous no deposit bonuses that you can get when register at some casinos like Raging Bull.

Determined to be role models, the French casino groups have adopted many measures to reduce their energy consumption and be more environmentally friendly. No shortage of ideas and casinos implement different solutions depending on the location of the gambling establishment. Yet even well-known casinos admit the best way to conserve energy and, therefore, directly impact the well being of the environment is to visit online casino sites. Get to know the options you have available to you, and the next time you feel like gambling, know that you can use your mobile device and access excellent sites from anywhere.

If running a hotel requires a high usage of electricity, a casino requires even more. Just think about how much electricity is needed to maintain all those slots games machines, the heating, cooling, and lightening. Recently, many best casinos have switched the utilization of electricity as a resource to LED lighting, which provides higher efficiency and lasts longer. And most importantly, since the lifespan of a LED light is longer than that of conventional bulbs or low power bulbs, replacing light sources (or re-lighting) becomes a negligible problem! One can easily imagine the number of working hours that the electrician had to devote to replacing used light bulbs in casinos that resemble real Christmas trees!

USA Casino industry is keen on satisfying the environmental concerns of the customers, and that’s why some casinos are making and suggesting green initiatives. The green way of gambling will increase the number of online casino versions of the best casinos. It definitely is a better greener choice and way eco-friendlier to gamble on mobile casino using your iPad or any other device at your home, than playing slots games in a land-based casino.

After all, between the power consumption of a computer and that of an entire casino, the comparison is quickly made: no need to be Einstein! But on the other hand, the employees of these casinos would be potential as many additional unemployed who would come to join the ranks of those already too numerous in our country. Ecology versus employment, the choice is unfortunately still quickly made.

Let's also note that some online casinos are trying to surf the Green Wave. Thus, the Casino del Rio for example, has not only changed its sign to adopt an evocative prairie green design but it also proposes to plant a tree in your name if you register on its site. Maybe it hopes to seduce players with a green soul, who knows?

Beekeeping in Romania and The Unromantic Side of 'Romantic' Dreams

That’s a lot of ‘romans’ in one blog title.

It’s no coincidence though. This post is a little past its due by date, but I’m going ahead and getting it up because it’s oh so fitting and oh so timely.

You see, I’ve just wrapped up my time in Romania.

I really am on a journey with no end. Home one minute, up and away the next.

I’m not in this to give you travel advice though. I’m here to give you real world reflections from a 20-something year old trying to find her place in the world and hopefully, teaching you a thing or two about yourself in the process. That you can use my words as a mirror of reflection into your own life.

So I wasn’t just in any old place in Romania… but on a beekeeping farm.

Healthy Cheap Meals and Shopping Tips For Broke College Students (& the budget-inclined)

Healthy Cheap Meals and Shopping Tips For Broke College Students (and The Budget-Inclined)

So I was posed with the question – what are some healthy cheap meals a college student can enjoy that doesn’t involve cheese sandwiches and 2-minute noodles? (not that they count as healthy OR environmentally friendly by any means).

I am the perfect person to answer this question. After all, I’ve been there and walked in your shoes. Both as a cash-strapped university student and a budget-inclined, poorly paid employee looking for healthy cheap meals that made me feel as good inside as they did when I looked at the balance of my bank account.  I know what it’s like to try and spend as little as possible on food without starving yourself.I know what it's like to try to take advantage of all free bonus deals from online casinos so you can win some money without the need to use your cart to deposit.

So if you’re a broke-ass college students living off some form of student allowance or working a less than stellar paying job to fill in the gaps to supplement the healthy cheap meals (not the drinking budget *cough cough*), then this is for you.
