Who knew that something so innocent would stir up such controversy!
Despite my preference to avoid conflict and step aside when matters of particular ‘female interest’ spark a viscous feline-like brawl, I couldn’t withhold my inner cat woman from getting her claws out and having her two cents worth. Especially pertaining to a particular topic so close to my heart. And oh the timing of it all just when I have been experimenting with such a project myself. The magical thing about Asian food, and why I love it so much, is because it reminds me of some very distinctive memories. Every mouthful takes me on an exotic journey back in time to my intrepid adventures through the region. A particular flavour may remind me of that one time I did this or that… and you know how the stories go (no one likes a travel bragger). Sustainability. It seems to be the catchword of the last decade. It often sets off a chain reaction in people and they might be heard mumbling other words under their breath in response, such as greenie, hipster or worse, hippie *gasp*. Read more ..
